We are currently building a squad for our Superannuation Client and we need a Senior Business Analyst and Technical Business Analyst to join our team. You will bridge the gap between business objectives and technology delivery, helping organisations turn challenges and opportunities into practical, sustainable solutions. You will contribute to complex transformation programs, engaging with business leaders, product teams, technical specialists and key stakeholders to understand operational needs, identify improvement opportunities and develop future-focused solutions.

Through analytical thinking, stakeholder collaboration and evidence-based decision-making, you will help drive business improvements, enhance operational efficiency and ensure technology initiatives deliver measurable value while supporting broader organisational goals and governance requirements.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Gather, evaluate and interpret information from various business systems and stakeholders to identify key challenges, improvement opportunities and expected business outcomes.

- Facilitate collaborative workshops, stakeholder discussions and discovery sessions to clarify business needs, build consensus and drive informed decision-making.

- Translate business and technical needs into well-structured functional and non-functional specifications, user stories and clearly defined acceptance criteria.

- Work closely with Product Owners and delivery teams to refine requirements, establish priorities and maintain a well-managed product backlog throughout the delivery lifecycle.

- Assess existing business processes, identify operational gaps and develop future-state workflows that support process optimisation and organisational change.





- Develop comprehensive business analysis documentation, ensuring requirements, solution recommendations and key deliverables are reviewed and endorsed by relevant stakeholders.

- The Technical BA will require analytical capabilities, with the ability to interpret complex datasets, uncover meaningful insights and recognise emerging trends to inform business decisions.

Requirements:

- Extensive experience within the Superannuation / Insurance with a solid understanding of legislation and compliance requirements.

- Proven ability to thrive in dynamic, evolving environments, demonstrating adaptability, initiative and a continuous improvement mindset.

- Experience supporting regulatory, legislative or compliance-driven initiatives, including assessing business impacts and implementing required changes.

- Relevant professional qualifications in Business Analysis (IIBA CCBA/CBAP) or Agile delivery methodologies, such as IIBA AAC, Scrum Master, Product Owner or SAFe, will be highly regarded.

- Familiarity with artificial intelligence, automation tools and emerging technologies, with the ability to evaluate their potential applications, business implications and impact on existing processes and systems.

- Demonstrated expertise in target operating model analysis and design, with proficiency in relevant tools and methodologies.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
