We're looking for an experienced, motivated and commercially minded Senior Event Sales & Planner to join the team at Buttoned Up Events. Working across three of our established brands, The Bucks Co, House of Hens and Trips Away, you'll help groups across Australia plan and book unforgettable bucks parties, hens celebrations, weekends away and group experiences.

About the role

You'll be responsible for managing the complete sales and event planning process, from the first enquiry through to the successful delivery of each event. With approximately $1.5 million in annual event sales to manage, this is a substantial role offering genuine responsibility, autonomy and the chance to make an impact.

Key responsibilities

- Managing incoming enquiries and converting opportunities into confirmed bookings.
- Speaking confidently with clients over the phone, text and email to understand their needs and recommend the perfect experiences.
- Creating tailored proposals, packages and itineraries for bucks parties, hens celebrations and group team trips.
- Coordinating activities, venues, accommodation, transport and other event arrangements.
- Managing client relationships and ensuring a seamless experience from booking through to event delivery.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with our national supplier network.
- Taking ownership of your sales pipeline, following up opportunities and achieving performance targets.
- Identifying ways to improve our customer experience, processes and sales results.
- Collaborating with our wider team, with opportunities to support our corporate events brand, Team Days.

About you

- Proven experience in event sales, travel, tourism, hospitality, group bookings or a similar role.




- Robust sales ability and a track record of converting enquiries into bookings.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to pick up the phone.
- Outstanding organisation and attention to detail.
- The ability to juggle multiple clients, bookings and deadlines.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and making decisions.
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of pricing and profitability.
- Confidence using CRM systems and digital tools.
- A positive attitude and a genuine willingness to support your teammates.

Benefits

- Competitive base salary of $75,000–$85,000 + super, depending on experience.
