Wilga Farming (Australia) is currently seeking a motivated and capable Senior Farm Hand/Operator to join our team at our Crillee Aggregation, a large-scale farming operation located in the Central West region of New South Wales.
This hands-on role is integral to the daily operations of the farm and involves a wide range of activities including cropping, machinery operation, fencing, maintenance and harvesting. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in broadacre farming, robust mechanical aptitude, and a proactive, safety-first attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake seeding, spraying, and harvesting operations
- Operate and maintain various types of large-scale agricultural machinery
- Perform general farm maintenance, including machinery, fencing and infrastructure repairs
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to a safe and efficient working environment
Skills And Experience
We are looking for candidates who possess the following:
- Experience in cropping, preferably within a large-scale or corporate enterprises
- Proficiency in the operation and maintenance of agricultural machinery
- A current Driver’s Licence (essential)
- Mechanical aptitude; welding and fabrication skills will be highly regarded
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a positive attitude
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks
Advantageous Qualifications/experience Include
- Heavy Vehicle (HR) Truck Licence
- ChemCert accreditation
- First Aid certificate
- Confined Space and/or Working at Heights certifications
- Experience using AgWorld

About the Property
The Crillee Aggregation is a large-scale 6730-hectare mixed farming enterprise comprising three properties across the Central West region of NSW, Kooroora (3,183ha), Crillee (2,471ha) and Hallerton (1,130ha).
Hallerton, Crillee and Kooroora form the Crillee Aggregation. It includes approximately 5,850 hectares of dryland cropping, 193 hectares of irrigated cropping, and 682 hectares dedicated to, conservation and operational support.
The property is strategically located between Gilgandra and Dubbo, providing access to a major regional city and several welcoming country communities.
