Your Role

We are looking for a passionate Senior Legal Counsel responsible for our Australian Automotive Business in a highly dynamic and international setting. The position will be based in Sydney, Australia.

You will especially support sales and after-sales related legal matters of the automotive business of Xiaomi with your proven expertise and pragmatic, business oriented and pro-active advice. The ideal candidate may develop into a team leader role in the automotive business of Australia.

Your Job

- Legal Advice and Research on Laws, Regulations and Policies
- Draft, Review and Negotiate a wide variety of national and international contracts
- Drafting of Guidelines, Policies and Contract Templates
- Review of Marketing Material and Marketing Campaigns




- Communication with Regulatory Authorities
- Coordination of Disputes and Claims, including managing external counsels
- Support and Advice for sales, after-sales, finance, tax, HR and other departments
- Corporate Governance Matters
- Liaison with HQ Legal Team

Your Profile

- Minimum 8 years of experience gained as an in-house lawyer in the automotive industry, minimum 10 years of experience in the legal field;
- Full proficiency in English;
- Strong commercial sense and pragmatism;
- Being able to prioritize and handle variable deadlines.
