Beacon Legal has partnered with a growing international infrastructure business in the search for a Senior Legal Counsel. This opportunity would suit a lawyer with approximately 10+ years’ post-qualification experience who is looking to take on a commercially significant role supporting technology transactions and business growth.
We’re seeking a commercially minded and proactive technology lawyer to support the business’s expanding operations. The role offers exposure to complex technology agreements, intellectual property, privacy and data security matters underpinning the growth of AI and digital infrastructure.

About the Role
- Provide legal support on technology transactions and commercial arrangements.
- Draft, review and negotiate customer, technology, licensing and service agreements.
- Advise on intellectual property ownership, licensing and protection.
- Work closely with commercial,
technology and operational teams to support new products, services and business initiatives.
- Provide practical advice on privacy, data protection and data security matters.
- Manage external legal advisers across relevant jurisdictions.
What we’re looking for
- Admitted to practise in Australia.
- Approximately 10+ years’ post-qualification experience in technology, intellectual property and/or privacy and data security.
- Ideally, a combination of in-house experience and training within a top-tier technology practice.
- Solid technical, commercial and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, adaptable and collaborative approach.
- Excellent communication, drafting and problem-solving ability.
- Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
