About the RoleAmmjohn Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager / Project Director to lead the delivery of complex engineering and capital projects across a diverse range of industries.

This is an opportunity for a proven project leader who combines strong technical understanding with commercial acumen, exceptional client relationship skills and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams. The successful candidate will take ownership of projects from concept development and feasibility through engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.

Working closely with clients and internal engineering teams, you will play a key role in delivering successful project outcomes while contributing to the continued growth and capability of Ammjohn Solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the planning, management and delivery of multidisciplinary engineering and capital projects.
- Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, resources, risk and quality to achieve agreed objectives.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities to add value and develop long-term partnerships.
- Provide leadership and direction to project managers, engineers, contractors and other stakeholders.
- Oversee project development, feasibility studies, engineering design, procurement, construction and commissioning.
- Manage commercial performance, contractual obligations, variations, claims and project reporting.
- Identify and manage technical, commercial, safety and delivery risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support tender preparation, proposals, business development and client engagement.
- Mentor and develop project delivery personnel, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.

About YouYou are an accomplished project leader with a strong track record of delivering complex engineering or capital projects. You are commercially minded, technically capable and confident engaging with clients, senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.

You will bring

- Extensive experience in project management, with the capability to operate at Senior Project Manager or Project Director level.
- Demonstrated success delivering engineering, industrial or capital projects from concept through to completion.
- Solid commercial, contractual, financial and risk management skills.
- Proven leadership capabilities, including the ability to develop and motivate high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to balance competing priorities.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering or a related discipline.

Experience across industries such as mining, oil and gas, energy, cement, manufacturing, infrastructure or industrial processing will be highly regarded.
