- Work from anywhere in an eastern state capital city with genuine remote flexibility
- Salary package of $130,000 - $160,000 plus superannuation and clear career progression
- Join a high-growth, tech-forward property practice with real influence and leadership opportunities
Senior Property Lawyer | Residential & Commercial Conveyancing
Work remotely. Influence growth. Practise property law differently.
This is not your typical property lawyer role, and it's certainly not your typical law firm.
You'll be joining a rapidly growing, digital-first property practice that is redefining the way legal services are delivered. Working alongside a highly regarded founder and a national team, you'll play a key role in supporting residential and commercial property transactions across Australia, with a robust focus on New South Wales and Victorian matters.
The business has invested heavily in technology, streamlined systems, and modern ways of working. As a result, lawyers can focus on delivering exceptional client outcomes rather than battling administrative inefficiencies.
With significant growth on the horizon, this is an outstanding time to join the business at a senior level and help shape its next chapter.
This position is ideally suited to a lawyer with 5-8 years' post-admission experience who enjoys autonomy, thrives in a technology-enabled environment, and wants to be part of a business that is scaling nationally.
You can be based in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Hobart or another eastern state capital city, working fully remotely or in a hybrid arrangement.
You'll handle a diverse mix of residential and commercial conveyancing matters, while also contributing to client relationships, operational improvements, mentoring junior team members, and the continued growth of the practice.
There will be occasional interstate travel to connect with colleagues, clients and industry partners.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing residential and commercial conveyancing transactions from contract review through to settlement
- Advising clients on property acquisitions and disposals across multiple jurisdictions
- Working extensively on NSW and Victorian transactions
- Building trusted relationships with clients, buyer's agents and property professionals
- Assisting with mentoring and supporting junior team members
- Contributing to process improvements and technology initiatives
- Working closely with leadership on the continued growth of the practice
- Delivering a high standard of technical advice and client service
What We're Looking For
- Approximately 5-8 years' post-admission experience in property law and conveyancing
- Strong experience across residential conveyancing, with exposure to commercial property transactions
- Experience handling matters in NSW and/or Victoria (both highly regarded)
- Ability to manage files independently from commencement to settlement
- Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills
- Commercially minded with a practical, solutions-focused approach
- Confidence using modern legal technology and conveyancing platforms such as PEXA, Smokeball, TriConvey or similar
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- A collaborative and positive approach to team culture
- Interest in contributing to the growth and future direction of the business
