We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Advisor - Electrical for a Transmission Line Project in Melbourne.

About the Role

- Provide coaching to engineers on the requirements of the Project Quality Management Plan and Defects / Punchlist Management arrangements for the project.
- Assist the project team to prepare quality documentation as required by the contract (ITPs, ITP Checklists, Registers, Submissions, Processes, SOW).
- Facilitate the completion of product and system NCRs and encourage the engineering and delivery teams to push NCRs through their statuses to closure.
- Assist the project team to progress RFIs and Design Change Notices to completion.
- Review ITP Checklists and provide comments back to the engineers.
- Provide assurance checks of construction Quality Documentation.
- Conduct field surveillance and First Article Inspections in accordance with the Project Surveillance Schedule.




- Assist with the induction of Subcontractors and Delivery Team Members to the Project Digital Quality operating system.
- Ensure site-based Project Completion artefacts information is adequate, checked, and signed off against the mandatory deliverable requirements.
- Completed Project Completion artefacts packs “right first time” and “on time
- Report Project Completion artefact progress and issues directly to relevant internal stakeholders with effective communication, escalation and reporting of completions progress.
- Effectively manage interface with subcontractors, delivery team and field staff to obtain and rectify any missing information.

About you

- Ideally Electrical Engineer or Elec Trade background with some experience in Structures, Communications, Instrumentation)
- Minimum 10+ year experience on implementing and maintaining Quality Management System in a construction environment.
- Demonstrated experience in major infrastructure, renewable energy, or utility-scale construction projects.
- Proven experience in developing construction quality documentation including review of ITPs and ITP Checklists.
- Proven experience in the preparation of as built and artefact requirements.
- Valuable working knowledge of ISO9001:2015.
- Solid understanding of relevant Australian standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Working knowledge of Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Communications, Infrastructure, Renewables standards and regulations with the ability to identify and address any gaps in knowledge.
- Negotiation and influencing skills to achieve desired outcomes.
- Ability to develop analytical and planning/prioritisation skills.
- Attention to detail and able to apply systematics methods and practices to complete work reliably.
- Great communication skills to keeps team informed of deadlines.
