We currently have an amazing team at Martha Cove Marina & Residential Development, in Safety Beach, Victoria, who operate 24/7 in ensuring safety and security for the local community and residents. This includes public events, as the site often has an influx of visitors during holidays, public holidays and weekends.

Rotating positions and cross-training mean you will never be bored, and there is always something to do, including managing 40 CCTV and 10 ALPR in the Control Room, 2x onsite marked patrol car to monitor and respond to 2,500 houses, and 1x onsite marked security patrol boat to navigate through the marina waterways that enter Port Philipp Bay.

There are also more than 1,000 residential and commercial properties with onsite alarm monitoring.

Engagement and support of emergency services is a daily occurrence, including situations from 000 calls, but also EPA issues, Parks Victoria, Fisheries Victoria, and Wildlife Victoria.

To be considered for this chance you must be able to demonstrate that you have the following minimum:

Current Victorian Security License

- Current First Aid Accreditation

- Current CPR Accreditation

- Current Victorian Driver's License





- Excellent written and spoken English Language. Report writing skills are essential.

- Demonstrated competency in relevant technology applications and platforms including but not limited to Windows 11, Microsoft Office 365, Security related platforms technology, and Outlook Emails outlook is part of Office 365

- Ability to swim (there is no test, just a declaration you can)

- Physically fit, able and motivated to undertake foot patrols of more than 5,000 steps per day with equipment

While not mandatory for recruitment, it is preferred you already have the following, or committed to obtaining them within 6 months:

Security Control Room Operator Endorsement

- Traffic Control accreditation desirable

- Boat License and/or Coxswain accreditation

- Working with Children Check

The site has a rotating roster, and remuneration aligned to the requirements of the related Award (Level 3).

Please do not apply if you do not meet the requirements, or, unable to travel to Safety Beach VIC. The position requires the experience of a senior guard, with preference given to those who can demonstrate experience in emergency response of at least 4 years.
