Reporting to the CFO as a true second in command, you will take leadership of the national finance function and work closely with the CEO, Board and operational leaders across the business. Your remit will span financial control, technical accounting, commercial finance and FP&A.; You will build the team, reporting capability and financial discipline needed to support an increasingly substantial and complex organisation. The next 12–18 months will offer exposure to major corporate initiatives. These projects offer the potential to broaden your experience and create a strong platform for further progression. Key responsibilities include:

Deputise for the CFO, taking ownership across the finance function and representing finance in executive discussions and key business decisions. Lead and develop the national finance team and shared services function, building capability, improving service delivery and supporting a rapidly expanding business. Lead technical accounting and financial reporting,



providing expert guidance on complex matters and ensuring confidence in the group’s financial information. Partner with the CEO, CFO and operational leaders, influencing strategy, commercial performance, investment decisions and national expansion. Drive finance transformation, strengthening systems, processes and governance to create a function that can support the organisation’s growth ambitions. Play a leading role in major corporate initiatives, bringing together financial planning, analysis and reporting to support career-defining projects over the next 12–18 months. About you

You are a CA or CPA qualified finance leader with a strong technical foundation and the ambition to take on a broader remit. You may already be a Finance Director or Deputy CFO, or a Group Financial Controller ready to step into a larger leadership role. You bring hands‑on experience preparing consolidated statutory accounts, including notes and disclosures, together with a track record of leading teams and improving finance capability. Experience within an ASX listed business is key, with exposure to a corporate transactions particularly valuable. A background in construction, manufacturing, infrastructure or another capital intensive, project based environment will position you well. Experience supporting operations across multiple sites or states would also be valuable. You will be comfortable moving between technical detail, commercial decisions and senior stakeholder conversations, with a practical approach suited to a fast‑moving business. Why join?
