About the Organisation:

This charming, boutique accounting firm based in North Lakes is led by a highly experienced Chartered Accountant, who sees her team flourish through constant support and investment in their growth! Her personable nature and expertise has retained existing and attracted new clients, and she is seeking an experienced Tax Accountant/Supervisor to support the team.

This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Accountant who is keen to support a junior teammate, review onshore/offshore work and support the partner with client engagement. On offer is excellent flexibility and a genuine say in your day-to-day experience.

Key responsibilities:

- Support the preparation and review tax returns, financial statements and BAS' prepared by fellow accountants (3 onshore & 3 offshore)
- Assist with training and mentoring the junior staff members as needed
- Communicate with clients and answer queries
- Assist the partner on an adhoc basis with client meetings and advanced accounting work

Between now and EOFY, this role will lean toward compliance,



aligned with tax deadlines. Following EOFY, it will evolve to encompass direct client advisory.

Skills and Experience:

- At least 3+ years' experience working in public practice
- Strong knowledge of Australian tax practice and reporting standards
- Comfortable with a boutique style - teamwork approach
- Experience using Xero, proficiency in the use of AI is an asset
