About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Writer to develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation across engineering, project delivery and operational activities.
Working closely with engineers, project managers and subject matter experts, you will prepare manuals, procedures, work instructions and supporting documentation to ensure equipment, systems and processes are clearly documented and aligned with client and project requirements.
This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale mining and materials handling projects while helping establish documentation standards and best practices across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop operations and maintenance manuals
- Prepare technical procedures and work instructions
- Create and maintain project documentation packs
- Work with engineers and SMEs to gather technical information
- Ensure documentation is accurate, consistent and user-friendly
- Manage document revisions and version control
- Support project handovers and client documentation requirements
- Maintain document standards and templates
About You
- Previous experience as a Technical Writer / Senior Technical Writer in engineering, mining, manufacturing or heavy industry
- Ideally from an engineering background
- Strong technical writing and editing capability
- Excellent attention to detail and document control skills
- Ability to understand and interpret engineering documentation
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Solid communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
