Service Advisor

Are you passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and enjoy working in a fast-paced heavy vehicle environment? We are seeking a motivated Service Advisor to join our Hazelmere team, acting as the key link between our customers and workshop operations. This is an exciting opportunity to build long-term customer relationships while supporting industry-leading products and service solutions.

About the Role

As a Service Advisor, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, coordinating workshop bookings and repairs, and identifying opportunities to maximise service and parts sales. You'll work closely with customers and workshop staff to ensure jobs are completed efficiently while keeping customers informed throughout the repair and maintenance process.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage customer enquiries via phone, email and front counter
- Confirm workshop bookings and maintain regular communication with customers regarding job progress
- Prepare and follow up quotations in a timely manner
- Process job openings, closures and invoice administration
- Raise purchase orders and process customer payments
- Monitor workshop schedules and maintain work-in-progress targets
- Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business
- Proactively identify up-selling and cross-selling opportunities for service, parts, oils and associated products
- Coordinate effective resolutions to customer concerns and service issues

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Previous experience in a Service Advisor, Service Administration or similar customer-focused role




- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of heavy vehicle operations
- Knowledge of Detroit Diesel, Western Star or MAN products will be highly regarded
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
- The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Trade qualifications or Service Advising/Parts Interpreting qualifications (desirable).
