Brand & Showroom Coordinator

Carousel | Pakenham, Victoria

Full-time | $60,000–$70,000 superannuation performance-based bonus opportunities

Working hours: Five days per week, including Saturdays and Thursday evenings, with a rostered weekday off.

About the Opportunity

Carousel is an established, Australian-owned bridal and men's formalwear business with over 30 years of experience, specialising in Australian-made bridal gowns, custom tailoring, formalwear and personalised customer service.

Our bridal gowns are made in our Australian workroom, allowing us to offer a highly personalised experience with an emphasis on craftsmanship, quality and attention to detail. We take pride in our specialist knowledge and the relationships we build with our customers.

As we continue to grow and develop our brand, we're looking for a motivated, creative and detail-oriented individual to join our team.

This is a varied, hands-on position combining social media, content creation, Shopify management and showroom operations, with the opportunity to learn firsthand from experienced professionals in bridalwear, tailoring and personalised retail.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Content Creation

- Collaborate with our in-house photographer to plan, create and publish engaging photo and video content across our social media platforms.

- Develop and maintain a consistent, high-quality online presence that reflects the Carousel brand.

- Assist in organising photoshoots, content days and promotional campaigns.

- Identify relevant trends and creative opportunities while maintaining our brand's identity.

- Monitor content performance and contribute ideas to improve engagement and results.

Shopify & E-Commerce

- Manage and update Shopify product listings, descriptions, images and collections.

- Assist with website improvements, online merchandising and product presentation.

- Ensure product information and online content are accurate, consistent and professionally presented.

- Support the ongoing development and growth of our online store.

Showroom & Customer Experience

- Assist with customer enquiries, appointments, bookings and administration.

- Maintain a welcoming, organised and impeccably presented showroom, including visual merchandising, product displays and garment presentation.





- Assist with general housekeeping and cleaning duties throughout the showroom and facilities, including fitting rooms, staff areas and bathrooms.

- Develop knowledge of our product ranges, fabrics, garment construction and fitting procedures.

- Support customers throughout their appointments, including product selection and purchasing decisions.

- Gradually develop the confidence and expertise to conduct personalised bridal and men's formalwear consultations independently.

- Assist with bridal fittings, gown preparation and dressing assistance, ensuring customers feel comfortable and their privacy is respected.

- Assist with suit-hire preparation and basic garment alterations where appropriate, with training provided.

What We're Looking For

- Excellent communication skills and a professional, approachable personality.

- A strong eye for detail, quality and presentation.

- Confidence using technology and the ability to learn new systems.

- A genuine interest in fashion, marketing, e-commerce and customer experience.

- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.

- Initiative, reliability and a willingness to learn, accept feedback and continually improve.

- The confidence to work independently while contributing positively to a team.

- Availability to work Saturdays and Thursday evenings as part of a regular five-day roster.

Previous experience in any of the following would be highly regarded:

- Shopify or e-commerce management.

- Social media content creation, photography or videography.

- Experience in personalised sales, client consultations or relationship-based selling.

- Fashion, bridalwear, menswear or tailoring.

- Sewing, garment alterations or clothing construction.

We don't expect candidates to have experience in every area. We're particularly interested in individuals who demonstrate initiative, attention to detail, a strong work ethic and a genuine willingness to develop new skills.
