Social Media Manager – Bing Chillin

Part-Time | Melbourne

$30–$40 per hour depending on experience

Bing Chillin is looking for a creative, hands-on Social Media Manager to take ownership of our social channels and help bring our brand to life online.

We’re a Melbourne dessert café brand known for bingsu, matcha, desserts and fun seasonal promotions. We want someone who understands what performs on social media, has a solid visual eye and can turn everyday store moments into content people actually want to watch and share.

This role is perfect for someone who loves food, content creation, trends, photography and building brands.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Manage Bing Chillin’s Instagram, TikTok and other relevant social channels
- Plan and maintain a monthly social media content calendar
- Come up with fresh content ideas for new products, promotions, holidays and seasonal events
- Film and edit short-form videos including Reels and TikToks
- Create engaging posts, Stories and behind-the-scenes content
- Write captions that match Bing Chillin’s tone and personality
- Plan and organise content shoots and product photoshoots
- Photograph desserts, drinks, merchandise and store content
- Work with staff and customers to create natural, engaging social content
- Keep up with trends, sounds, formats and platform changes
- Adapt trends in a way that still feels like Bing Chillin
- Schedule and publish content consistently
- Respond to comments and help maintain a friendly online community
- Monitor engagement, reach, follower growth and content performance
- Identify what content performs well and use those insights to improve future posts
- Support launches, collaborations and promotional campaigns
- Make sure the Bing Chillin brand looks and feels consistent across social media

We’re Looking For Someone Who
- Has a strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok
- Has experience creating short-form video content
- Is confident filming and editing content independently




- Has a strong eye for photography, composition and visual branding
- Can create content that feels natural rather than overly corporate
- Understands what makes people stop scrolling
- Is comfortable appearing on camera or directing others when needed
- Can plan content ahead while still reacting quickly to trends
- Is creative, organised and self-motivated
- Can work independently and take ownership of Bing Chillin’s social presence
- Understands that social media should not only look good, but also help bring customers into our stores

Experience in hospitality, food, fashion, lifestyle or consumer brands would be highly regarded.
