Role Description The Software System Test Engineer is a full-time remote role responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software systems before release. Day-to-day tasks include designing, writing, and executing system test cases, validating functional and non-functional requirements, and documenting test results and defects clearly.

The role involves collaborating closely with software developers and product stakeholders to understand system architecture, plan test coverage, and support root-cause analysis of issues. The engineer will help refine testing processes, contribute to test automation initiatives where applicable,



and participate in continuous improvement of quality assurance standards for EgoTECHworld’s solutions.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in System Testing and Testing to validate complex software systems end-to-end.
- Candidates should possess skills in designing, documenting, and maintaining comprehensive Test Cases aligned with requirements.
- Candidates should possess practical experience in Software Testing and working knowledge of Software Development lifecycles.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with defect tracking tools, test management platforms, and version control systems.
- Relevant qualifications include a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Additional beneficial skills include basic test automation knowledge, understanding of QA methodologies, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and transparent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional team environment, manage time independently, and adapt to changing priorities.
