Our boutique, family run law firm is seeking a solicitor to join our close knit Southport team in one of two capacities:

- General practice — a varied caseload across conveyancing, wills and estates, commercial, civil, criminal, defamation, technology and cyber security, family law and domestic violence matters.
- Family law and domestic violence — a role focused on these two areas, with occasional assistance in other areas of the practice.

The role

You will manage your own matters with an appropriate level of independence, supported by a cooperative team of junior and senior solicitors. You will also mentor a junior solicitor who will work alongside you on selected cases. We use Smokeball and operate a digital-first practice wherever possible.

About you

We are looking for someone who brings:

- An unrestricted employee practising certificate issued in Queensland or another Australian jurisdiction.
- Relevant experience in general practice or in family law and domestic violence.
- Sound organisational and communication skills,



with a practical, client-focused approach.
- Confidence working independently, collaborating with colleagues and supporting junior staff.
- Strong computer literacy and confidence using legal software and digital files.
- Flexibility to assist outside their usual practice areas when needed.

Experience across multiple areas of law will be viewed favourably.
