The Australian Climate Service is seeking a Policy and Stakeholder Engagement Lead to provide strategic leadership including for stakeholder engagement across government. The role is responsible for shaping engagement approaches, building influential relationships and translating stakeholder intelligence into advice that informs ACS priorities, products and services.
Operating under broad direction, the position exercises a high degree of independence and judgement in managing complex stakeholder issues, identifying emerging opportunities and risks, and driving team-oriented outcomes across governments, industry, research organisations and communities. The role plays a key part in strengthening the impact, relevance and uptake of ACS climate and disaster risk intelligence across government.
