About the role

Sigtech Solutions Australia delivers rail signalling and infrastructure projects across Australia. You'll take ownership of the Beresfield stores and depot logistics, ensuring materials, products, tools and equipment are accounted for, easy to locate and ready when project teams need them. You'll help improve how the depot operates, leading by example on safety, housekeeping and productive processes. Salary will be dependent on experience.

Key responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day operation of the stores, including receiving, checking, recording, storing and issuing stock

- Establish and maintain an inventory control system, including stock locations, records, stocktakes and replenishment

- Coordinate materials, tools and equipment for project mobilisation, deliveries and returns

- Undertake purchasing and procurement activities as required under Sigtech's procedures

- Coordinate freight, supplier collections and deliveries to project teams

- Keep the depot, workshop and yard organised, clean and safe, and coordinate facility maintenance when needed





- Take a proactive approach to safety by identifying hazards, addressing housekeeping and storage risks, and encouraging safe practices

- Identify and put in place practical improvements to stores processes, stock accuracy and depot operations

- Occasionally deliver materials using a company truck, if licensed and required, and assist with site or field activities when necessary

About you

- Experience managing a stores or warehouse operation, including inventory control, stock movements and working with suppliers and internal teams

- Organised and confident using inventory systems

- Current driver's licence

- Strong commitment to safety

- Current Rail Industry Worker (RIW) card is highly desirable; if you don't already hold one, you must be able to obtain it, including meeting the requirements for a Category 3 rail medical

- Forklift licence and HR truck licence would be well regarded
