Job Title: Kitchen Hand

Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and flexible Kitchen Hand to join our team in a boutique brand new aged care facility in Sydney, Current South Wales. The successful candidate will work alongside the Chef to ensure that the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.

Skills:

- Good communication skills

n

- Ability to work well under pressure

n

- Attention to detail

n

- Basic food preparation knowledge

n

- Ability to follow instructions and recipes accurately

n

- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices

n

Responsibilities:

n

- Assist the Chef with meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, making salads, etc.

n





- Ensure that all ingredients are properly stored and labeled in accordance with food safety regulations.

n

- Clean kitchen surfaces, equipment, and utensils after use.

n

- Assist with stock rotation and inventory management.

n

-Assist with menu planning as required by chef.

n

Qualifications:

n

- No formal qualifications required but completion of a culinary arts program or an internship is preferred.

n

- Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen is an advantage.

n

Working Hours: Part-time
