An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Track Manager/Curator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the TFJC remains at the forefront of the racing industry by meticulously preparing and maintaining our racetrack and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:
n
n
- n
Prepare and maintain the track for race meetings, ensuring it meets professional standards.
n
- n
Conduct daily preparation and maintenance of the racing surface, including watering, rolling, and grooming.
n
- n
Manage and upkeep the irrigation system used for track preparation.
n
- n
Maintain areas around the racetrack, including lawn care, weeding, fertilising, and general landscaping to uphold to an A1 condition.
n
- n
Perform general repairs and maintenance duties across the facility as required.
n
n
To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:
n
n
- n
Previous experience in a curator role within the racing industry or a related field such as greenkeeping or sports field preparation.
n
- n
Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team setting, positively influencing culture and working effectively without direct supervision.
n
- n
Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends when race meetings are scheduled.
n
- n
Exceptional attention to detail and a strong sense of pride in the quality of work and output.
n
- n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
n
- n
Basic mechanical and handyman skills are essential.
n
- n
A valid NSW Driver's licence.
n
