FULL TIME – Armidale

Are you of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent?

n

Do you already live in the Armdidale district or looking for a tree change away from the hustle of the city?

n

Do you possess formal qualifications in health, welfare, social work or related area at a TAFE level (Certificate IV minimum) or above and/or have substantial experience in any of these areas?

n

Do you have to ability to lead and support a team of Case Workers?

n

Would you like to become part of a excellent teamproviding culturally appropriate primary health care services to Aboriginal people and communities living in Armidale and surrounding districts?

n

- 2. Demonstrated experience working in,



and/or understanding of issues impacting homelessness
n
- 3. Previous experience working with community controlled organisations, Aboriginal clients and capacity to communicate with Aboriginal communities and services.
n
- 4. Effective written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in the use of computer software applications for word processing, internet and e-mail.
n
- 5. Self-motivation and the capacity to work with minimal supervision.
n
- 7. Current Working with Children’s Check and National Police Check or willingness to acquire
n
- 1. Networking and referral experience
