Salary: A$80,000 per year, plus superannuation and bonus

Steel Nex is seeking a detail-oriented Structural Steel Drafter / Detailer to prepare accurate drawings and detailing documentation for structural steel projects.

Responsibilities

- Prepare structural steel shop, fabrication and erection drawings.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and project requirements.
- Create and revise 2D and 3D models, drawings and material lists.
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, fabricators and site teams.
- Check drawings for accuracy, constructability and consistency.
- Manage drawing revisions and meet project deadlines.

About you

- Experience in structural steel drafting or detailing.




- Proficiency with Tekla Structures, AutoCAD or similar drafting software.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail, organisation and communication skills.
- A team-oriented approach and the ability to manage priorities.
