STORE MANAGER – SUBWAY

Busy Gold Coast Shopping Centre

Salary: $60,000–$80,000 per annum plus superannuation, depending on experience, with quarterly performance bonuses available.

We are seeking an experienced, motivated and hands-on Store Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of our busy Subway store in a major Gold Coast shopping centre.

This is an excellent opportunity for a capable hospitality professional who enjoys leading a team, delivering outstanding customer service and taking pride in running an efficient and successful business.

We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the daily operation, lead by example and manage the store confidently, while working closely with an involved and supportive business owner.

We also welcome applications from experienced Assistant Managers who are ready to take the next step in their management career.

- Weekend management cover required on only a few occasions throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily store operations and lead the team.
- Prepare staff rosters and manage labour costs.
- Recruit, train, motivate and develop team members.
- Monitor stock, food costs and wastage.
- Maintain excellent customer service,



food quality and store presentation.
- Ensure food safety, cleanliness and company procedures are followed.
- Work towards agreed sales, profitability and operational targets.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and overall store performance.

About You
- Previous experience in hospitality, rapid food or retail management.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- A hands-on approach and the ability to manage a team independently.
- Confidence with staff rostering, stock control and daily operations.
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of labour costs and profitability.
- A positive attitude, reliability and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
