About the role

As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will analyse the movement of goods and operational information across our supply and distribution activities, from receiving customer orders through supply coordination, inventory allocation, dispatch, and final delivery. You will review operational data, systems and existing supply chain processes to identify inefficiencies, delays, stock discrepancies, supply risks and recurring distribution issues. Working closely with management and operational personnel, you will develop improvement recommendations and help implement approved changes across the business.

Key responsibilities

- Analyse customer orders, inventory movements, supply requirements and delivery information to identify trends, delays and operational issues.
- Review the movement of goods from receipt of customer orders through inventory allocation, dispatch and final delivery.
- Analyse existing supply chain and product delivery processes to identify gaps, bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
- Evaluate current supply, inventory and distribution procedures and recommend changes to improve operational efficiency and service performance.
- Monitor inventory availability and supply requirements to support timely and accurate order fulfilment.
- Review shipment, delivery and order records to identify recurring delays, incomplete orders, discrepancies and distribution issues.
- Analyse delivery routes and distribution activities to identify opportunities for more effective movement and utilisation of resources.
- Monitor shipment progress, delivery performance and order status and maintain accurate supply chain information.
- Review supplier performance,



product availability and delivery timeframes to identify potential supply risks and recurring issues.
- Analyse historical order information, customer demand patterns and operational data to assist with inventory and supply planning.

About you

- Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Management, Operations Management, Systems Engineering or another closely related discipline.
- Alternatively, at least 3 years of relevant work experience in supply chain, logistics, distribution, inventory, transport or related operations.
- Practical exposure to supply chain, logistics or distribution operations, including areas such as order fulfilment, inventory management, supply coordination, delivery operations or operational performance analysis.
- Previous experience reviewing operational processes, analysing business or supply chain information and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
- Good understanding of supply chain, logistics, inventory, order fulfilment and distribution processes.
- Sound spreadsheet, reporting and data-analysis skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with management, operational staff, drivers, suppliers and other stakeholders.
