About the role

We are seeking a Support Worker Female to join our team on a casual basis in NSW. This role is fundamental to our service delivery, enabling us to provide flexible, responsive support to our clients in the aged and disability sector. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting clients with their daily living activities, promoting their independence and wellbeing.

Your compassionate approach and dedication will directly contribute to the quality of life of the individuals we support.

Key responsibilities

- Assisting clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming and dressing
- Supporting clients with meal preparation and nutritional requirements
- Providing mobility assistance and helping clients move safely around their homes
- Offering companionship and emotional support to clients
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients
- Supporting clients with community access and social activities
- Communicating effectively with clients, their families and other care team members
- Following care plans and reporting any changes in client needs or concerns
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation as required
- Upholding high standards of personal and professional conduct

What we're looking for





- A genuine passion for supporting and caring for vulnerable people in the aged and disability sectors
- A caring, patient and empathetic approach to client interactions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliability and flexibility to work casual hours as required
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of personal hygiene and professional conduct
- Physical capability to assist clients with mobility and daily living activities
- A current Working With Children Check or willingness to obtain one
- Current First Aid certification or willingness to obtain one
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and training
- Preferred: prior experience in aged care, disability support or community services
