FIELD SERVICE SUPERVISOR RECRUITMENT BRIEF

Job Capital is seeking an experienced Field Service Supervisor on behalf of a client in Perth, Western Australia. Working alongside the Service Manager, the role oversees technicians’ work, supports field operations, manages quality across sites and assists with technical issues, training and client relationships.

POSITION DETAILS

ROLE PURPOSE

Work alongside the Service Manager to oversee breakdown and repair work, support technicians and apprentices, monitor work completion and quality, coordinate maintenance activities, and assist clients and field teams as required.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee breakdown and repair work carried out by technicians.
• Scope and prepare quotations for major breakdowns and service installation work.
• Project manage minor installation work when required.
• Carry out office-based checks of technicians’ completed work through the Uptick work management platform.
• Provide technicians and apprentices with guidance on work requirements and job processes when needed.
• Deliver training on the Uptick platform and help develop training material to support greater automation of future instruction.
• Meet with clients for progress meetings when required.
• Control and report on planned preventative maintenance sites.
• Oversee quality control across sites.
• Take a leadership role in the field and assist with technical issues.




• Liaise with key client personnel to improve working relationships.
• Assist with mentoring apprentices.
• Continue developing and improving the company’s operating processes.
• Carry out service work when required during periods of heavy or exceptional workload.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience working in a similar role.
• Strong technical background in HVAC.
• Good work ethic and enthusiasm.
• Trade certificate or qualification.
• Valid refrigeration licence.
• Restricted electrical licence.
• Valid Construction Induction Card (White Card).
• Valid Western Australian driver’s licence.
• Valid Australian working rights.
