Cook Colliery is currently in care and maintenance, and we have an opening for an Underground Operator to join our established underground crew. It's steady, hands-on underground work alongside an experienced team.

What the work looks like n

- Underground care and maintenance across the operation
n
- Outbye work, conveyor and infrastructure maintenance
n
- Operating a range of underground machinery safely
n
- Keeping ventilation, roadways and underground infrastructure in good order
n
- Upholding safety and quality standards at all times
n

Level 2 Underground Coal Operator | Blackwater QLD | 7/7 DIDO

- 7/7 even-time roster, 12-hour shifts, rotating days and nights
n
- DIDO, with camp and meals provided
n
- Solid day rate plus market allowance, recognising Level 2 experience
n

What you’ll need nn




- At least 12 months underground coal experience
n
- Standard 11, or willing to obtain/refresh
n
- Current Coal Board Medical, or willing to obtain/refresh
n
- Valid driver's licence
n
- Full Australian working rights
n
- A team-first attitude, with the initiative to work unsupervised and adapt as the job demands
