Vacant Property Works Coordinator

McPeake Facility Services is seeking an organised and proactive Vacant Property Works Coordinator to coordinate maintenance and refurbishment works across vacant social housing properties.

n

With over 30 years’ experience in government and community housing, McPeake delivers a broad range of property services through our directly employed trades, project managers and supervisors.

n

This role suits someone who enjoys a busy environment, keeps jobs moving and takes pride in getting properties ready for incoming residents.

About the role n

Working closely with our project managers, supervisors and trades, you will coordinate works from allocation through to completion, ensuring deadlines, quality standards and client requirements are met.

- Scheduling trades and coordinating multiple vacant properties at different stages of completion.
n
- Hands on handyman work
n
- Monitoring progress, following up outstanding works and addressing delays.
n
- Arranging materials, deliveries and subcontractors where required.
n
- Maintaining accurate job records,



status updates and completion documentation.
n
- Liaising with clients, suppliers and internal teams.
n
- Supporting inspections, defect rectification and property handovers.
n
- Escalating issues promptly to keep works on track.
n

About you n

You will bring:

- Experience coordinating property maintenance, building works or trade services.
n
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
n
- Clear communication and a confident, practical approach to following up tasks.
n
- Positive computer skills and attention to detail.
n
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
- Experience in vacant property works, social housing or refurbishment programs will be highly regarded.
