About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and capable Solo Chef to take ownership of the kitchen and deliver consistent, quality meals in a busy pub environment.
Working independently, you will manage daily kitchen operations, prepare a varied pub-style menu, maintain high food safety standards and ensure every service runs smoothly. You will have the opportunity to bring your initiative and creativity to the kitchen while managing stock, controlling food costs and maintaining an organised, efficient workspace.
This role suits a confident chef who enjoys responsibility, thrives under pressure and takes pride in producing great food without the need for constant supervision.

Your Skills and Experience





- Proven experience as a Chef or experienced Cook in a pub, bistro, café or similar commercial kitchen.
- Ability to work independently and confidently manage kitchen operations during busy service periods.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, menu execution and portion control.
- Understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, stock management and kitchen cost control.
- A reliable, organised and proactive approach, with a genuine passion for quality food and customer satisfaction.
