About the Position

Tipsy Slice Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Takeaway Manager to oversee daily operations at our busy takeaway store. This is a full‑time position requiring strong leadership, operational knowledge, and the ability to manage staff, inventory, and customer service in a rapid‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily takeaway operations including food preparation, packaging, dispatch, and workflow
- Supervise staff, prepare rosters, allocate duties, and provide ongoing training
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve complaints across phone, in‑store, and online channels
- Conduct daily stock checks, forecast usage, place supplier orders, and manage inventory rotation
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and OH&S; regulations
- Manage daily takings, balance tills, reconcile EFTPOS and online payments, and prepare banking deposits
- Coordinate delivery partners including Uber Eats, and Kravein
- Implement cost‑control measures to reduce wastage and improve profitability




- Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards across all workstations

Required Skills & Experience

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a takeaway, fast‑food, or hospitality management role
- Strong leadership and staff supervision skills
- Excellent customer service and conflict‑resolution abilities
- Experience with inventory management and supplier coordination
- Knowledge of food safety and OH&S; compliance requirements
- Competence in cash handling, POS systems, and reconciliation
- Ability to manage peak‑period operations in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong communication and organisational skills
