The Chance
St Thomas School and Preschool is seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Temporary Relief Teachers (TRT's) to join our relief teacher pool. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative and faith-filled learning environment where student wellbeing, engagement and achievement are highly valued.
Key responsibilities include
- - Delivering high-quality teaching and learning programs in the absence of the classroom teacher.
- Creating a positive, inclusive and safe learning environment for all students.
- Implementing curriculum plans and maintaining continuity of learning.
- Managing classroom behaviour in accordance with school expectations and policies.
- Building positive relationships with students, staff and families.
- Undertaking administrative and duty responsibilities as required.
About You
We are seeking someone who:
- Holds current teacher registration with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia.
- Demonstrates effective classroom management and organisational skills.
- Has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is flexible, adaptable and able to respond positively to changing circumstances.
- Works collaboratively as part of a professional learning community.
- Supports and upholds the values and mission of Catholic education.
