East Coast Injury Lawyers is a highly regarded plaintiff personal injury law firm based in Southeast Qld. We have an exciting opportunity available for a full-time Finance/Accounts Officer to join our team based out of one of our offices at Robina, Beenleigh or North Lakes.

Your responsibilities would include: nn
- Payment of client disbursements and office expenses;
n
- Preparing tax invoices;
n
- Managing all trust account transactions and compliance with QLS;
n
- End to end processing of fortnightly payroll including preparation and issuing payslips;
n




- Preparing and reconciling superannuation contributions;
n
- Payment of BAS (PAYG tax and GST) and superannuation liabilities;
n
- End of month compliance and reconciliations;
n
- Data entry of credit card transactions and other transactions;
n
- Providing accountants with financial documentation;
n
- Maintaining records as a paperless office;
n
- Providing periodic financial performance reports including cashflow projection spreadsheets; and
n
- Preparation of policies and accounting procedure instructions / manuals.

The successful candidate will: nn
- Have at least 2 years’ experience working as a Bookkeeper or Finance/Accounts Officer;
n
- Experience working in the legal industry strongly preferred but not compulsory;
n
- Be a highly motivated team player who is trustworthy and reliable; and
n
- Have strong attention to detail especially with respect to accuracy of data entry.
