Our clients are looking for experienced Chefs and Cooks who have worked in fast paced pub/hotel hospitality environments to work in their venues around regional NSW and QLD .

About the role n

You will work closely and collaborate with a team of chefs, cooks and kitchen hands to prepare high quality, good tasting meals to customers in a regional pub/hotel environment.

Full-time, part-time and casual positions are available and our clients are prepared to be flexible to ensure they get the right people for their kitchens.

Key responsibilities n

Prepare ingredients, cook and present food in accordance with menus and restaurant standards

n

Manage restaurant and food production across all meal periods, functions and events

n

Assist with the preparation of menus, recipes and new initiatives

n

Portion and plate meals attractively with relevant sauces, garnishes and accompaniments

n

Add appropriate seasoning and flavours during the cooking process

n

Clean and sanitise kitchen equipment and surfaces in accordance with health and safety and health department regulations

n





Keep and order food, kitchen supplies and equipment as required

n

Ensure the kitchen is always kept clean and tidy

About you n

Minimum 3 years full-time work experience as a chef or cook

n

Prior experience in an Australian pub or hotel is highly regarded

n

Ability to work under pressure in a quick-paced environment without sacrificing food quality or presentation

n

Available to work any day over a 7-day roster period

n

Strong communication skills and positive attitude

n

Strong understanding of produce, stock control and kitchen equipment

Pay & Conditions n

Hourly rate offered between $30/hr - $45/hr based on experience and desired employment status

n

Full-time, part-time and casual positions available

n

482 sponsorship opportunities may be available at the discretion of our clients and is subject to completing an initial probationary period. You must already be in Australia to be considered for sponsorship.
