Job Description

MoleSafe Skin Cancer Clinic is recruiting for a practice nurse (RN or EN) to join our dedicated clinical team, two days per week, on a fixed term contract of six month's duration. Work days required are Wednesday and Friday. We seek a proficient and qualified individual with an interest in dermatology/skin cancer. A friendly and engaging demeanour is vital for the position as is ensuring our patients are treated with compassion and respect.

The role's duties include, but are not necessarily limited to, the following.

- Assistance to doctors during in-rooms surgical procedures
n
- assistance with post-procedure follow-up
n
- wound care delivery
n
- undertaking total body photography
n
- photodynamic therapy
n
- assistance with clinic recalls
n
- clinic stock-control and ordering
n
- cleaning
n
- sterilising and maintaining clinical equipment and instruments
n




- front desk coverage encompassing phone answering, appointment management and billings.

Requirements to be considered for the role include unrestricted registration with AHPRA, current Police Check, current CPR/First Aid certificates, proficiency with Best Practice medical software, no less than two years clinic nurse experience (surgical experience will also be highly regarded).
