We are looking for a dedicated and experienced practice nurse to join our small friendly team at Murray Street Medical.

On the job training will be provided to the successful candidate by our experienced nurses prior to commencement of work to familiarise with our clinics’ procedures and policies.

We are a fully accredited practice with 2 busy consulting rooms providing high quality patient care. We are seeking for a candidate with a positive can-do attitude.

The ideal candidate must have at least one year experience in a general practice setting, current AHPRA registration, immunisation certificate, CPR,



and Qualified indemnity insurance and keen to complete other courses as required.

Desirable skills would include;

- Experience with GP Management plans & Team Care Arrangements

- Health Checks 45-49 years & 75+ years (home health assessments)

- Immunisations- Childhood & general

- Assisting with minor procedures; suturing, skin cancer excisions

- Wound care / dressings

- Ear syringing

- Spirometry

- Iron Infusions

- Children's 2 weeks - 4 years health checks

- ECG's

- Experience with Best Practice system

- Cold chain management knowledge & understanding

- Aged care assessment team (ACAT referrals)

- Home medication review referrals
