QMR Recyclers specialises in the purchase and sale of ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals, both domestically and internationally. We are seeking an Non Ferrous Labourer to assist with the daily operations in our yard at Park Avenue, Rockhampton
n
No prior scrap metal experience needed but a willingness to work
n
Robust customer service and communication skills
n
Attention to detail and accuracy with associated paperwork
n
Car License
Highly Regarded: n
n
- Hold a current Forklift Ticket (willingness to get one immediately)
n
- Previous metal recycling experience
n
- Truck License an advantage
n
About the Role: nn
- All applicants must have an exceptional work ethic and willing and able to learn
n
- Hours 7am - 4:30pm Monday to Friday
n
- Full time positions available, above award wages paid for suitable candidates. Casual to begin with for 3 months probation period.
n
- Other duties will include sorting/processing of scrap metal
n
- Potential for experienced applicant to assist in yard operations including operating material handlers and excavators when required
n
- Uniforms supplied after probation period (Including PPE)
