About the role - Immediate start

Organic Medical Group is seeking a qualified General Practitioner or Nurse Practitioner to join our growing telehealth network and provide online consultations to patients across Australia. This is a flexible, non-exclusive opportunity, ideal for prescribers looking to supplement their existing clinical work or expand their experience in alternative treatment options. Practitioners will be paid per completed consultation and have the freedom to choose their own availability, with no requirement to work exclusively for Organic Medical Group.

Key responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive telehealth consultations with patients

- Review medical histories and assess individual treatment suitability

- Develop appropriate, individualised treatment plans

- Prescribe treatments where clinically appropriate and legally authorised

- Provide ongoing patient reviews and follow-up consultations

- Maintain accurate clinical records and uphold relevant Australian healthcare standards and regulations

About you

- Current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner

- Relevant clinical qualifications and experience

- Strong communication and patient assessment skills
- A compassionate, skilled and patient-centered approach

- Commitment to safe, evidence-informed prescribing practices

- Ability to work independently within a telehealth environment

- Previous experience in medicinal cannabis prescribing (desirable but not essential)





- Knowledge of alternative treatment options and relevant prescribing regulations (desirable but not essential)

- Experience using telehealth and electronic medical record systems (desirable but not essential)
