Profectus is seeking expressions of interest from experienced Test Automation and Performance Test Analysts for future ICT contract opportunities across the Australian Government. Analysts will build and run automated and non-functional tests for large, citizen-facing systems delivered by Agile teams. The work covers test automation, performance and load testing, regression testing and test reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, build and maintain automated regression test suites
- Convert manual end-to-end test scripts into automated scripts
- Plan and run performance, load, stress and soak tests against peak volume targets
- Analyse performance results and identify bottlenecks with developers and infrastructure teams
- Run functional, system and integration testing aligned to sprint delivery
- Log, track and retest defects using test management tools
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Produce test plans, test summary reports and release readiness input

Required Experience
- Minimum five years in software testing on government or enterprise ICT programs
- Hands-on test automation using tools such as Playwright,



Selenium, Tosca or similar
- Performance testing using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad or k6
- System, integration, regression and acceptance testing
- Defect management and reporting in Jira, Azure DevOps or similar
- Working in Agile delivery teams

Desirable Experience
- ISTQB Foundation or Advanced certification
- Testing Microsoft Azure hosted or Dynamics 365 solutions
- API testing using Postman, ReadyAPI or similar
- Security or accessibility testing

Security Clearance Requirements
- Must be an Australian Citizen
- Must hold a current AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance (minimum)
