Trade Sales Rep – Sydney & Canberra

About the role

We are looking for a trade sales professional who enjoys getting out on the road and building genuine relationships with tradespeople and business owners. You might come from trade sales, a building or hardware merchant, or a field sales role. Prior trade knowledge is a real advantage, but we will teach you the rest.

This is a hands-on role. You’ll spend most of your time visiting workshops, manufacturing facilities and trade businesses across Sydney and Canberra, learning how each customer’s business runs and finding ways to help them grow. This is not a showroom, interior design or architectural specification position.

A typical week involves four days on the road visiting customers and one day for planning, quotes and follow-up.

In this role, you will:

- Conduct presentation and introduce customers to new products and ranges.
- Provide product information, pricing, availability and delivery lead-time advice.
- Follow up quotes, opportunities and customer enquiries.
- Work closely with our internal sales and operations teams to deliver a high level of service.
- Build long-term customer relationships and identify opportunities to grow their business with us.

Requirements





- Experience in the kitchen, cabinetry, joinery or building industry is an advantage but not essential.
- Comfortable talking with tradespeople and business owners in their workplaces.
- A valid driver’s licence and secure storage at home for product samples and sales materials.
