About the Role

As a Trades Assistant at Kirbtech Industries, you will play an essential role in keeping our workshop and job sites running smoothly. You will work directly alongside qualified tradespeople—assisting with servicing, repairs, assembly, site preparation, tool management, and general maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

- High-volume forklift operation across yard and workshop environments
- Loading and unloading trucks, equipment, parts and materials
- Supporting trades with assembly, dismantling and general workshop activities
- Spotter duties and safe movement of vehicles and equipment
- General labouring, housekeeping and yard maintenance
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment
- Completing job paperwork, risk assessments and daily documentation
- Maintaining equipment,



vehicles and PPE to company standards
- Complying with all company safety, environmental and quality requirements

What We Are Looking For

We value a strong work ethic, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to workplace safety above all else. The suitable applicant will have an eye for detail and a "Can Do" attitude Skills & Qualifications:

- Current C-Class Driver’s Licence (MR licence preferred)
- Forklift Licence (LF) required (for high-volume yard and workshop operation)
- Basic experience using hand and power tools (grinders, drills, saws)
- High level of safety awareness and a reliable, punctual work attitude
- Physical fitness and willingness to perform hands-on labouring tasks
