About the role
The Naked Bean is a locally owned coffee roastery in Albany, selling coffee, tea and home brewing products. We are looking for an experienced Store Manager to take charge of the shop day to day. You will look after stock, pricing, sales, staff and the numbers, and work closely with the owners to keep the business growing.

Key responsibilities

- Manage daily store operations and set clear expectations for customer service.
- Choose products based on sales and customer demand, and plan how much stock to keep.
- Set up and use clear procedures for ordering stock, choosing suppliers and arranging deliveries.
- Develop,Plan and carry out marketing activities, and set retail prices and discounts within agreed limits.
- Organise product displays, special offers and advertising.




- Sell coffee, tea and brewing products, and advise customers on product choice, brewing and equipment use.
- Keep stock, sales and payment records accurate and balance daily takings.
- Prepare store budgets and sales targets, and monitor spending and costs.
- Recruit and select staff, provide training, prepare rosters and supervise day-to-day work.
- Make sure store operations meet workplace safety and relevant food handling requirements.

About you

- A relevant Diploma or higher qualification, or at two years of relevant work experience.
- Experience managing a retail store and leading a team.
- Good customer service and communication skills.
- Experience with stock ordering, budgets and point of sale systems.
- Coffee and brewing product knowledge is desirable.
- Availability for the agreed roster, including early starts and Saturdays.
