Business Analyst - Superannuation

Melbourne CBD | Hybrid Working | 6-Month Contract with potential extension

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in the superannuation industry for an upcoming contract opportunity.

You will play a key role in supporting complex business and technology transformation initiatives, working closely with business leaders, product teams and technical stakeholders to identify opportunities, improve processes and deliver effective business solutions.

This opportunity will suit a commercially minded Business Analyst who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings strong industry knowledge, analytical capabilities and stakeholder engagement skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements across complex transformation initiatives.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops, discovery sessions and requirements gathering activities.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Analyse current-state business processes, identify gaps and develop future-state solutions.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Project Managers and technical delivery teams to support project outcomes.
- Support regulatory, legislative and compliance-driven change initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation and operational efficiencies.




- Ensure requirements and deliverables align with business objectives and regulatory obligations.

About You:

- Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst within the superannuation industry.
- Strong understanding of superannuation operations, products, legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Experience delivering business transformation, regulatory change or technology implementation projects.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation and communication skills.
- Solid experience producing business requirements, process maps, user stories and functional specifications.
- Experience working within Agile and/or Waterfall delivery environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex business environments.
- Previous experience within insurance or broader financial services will be highly regarded.
