The Role As a Senior Civil Designer, you will play a key role in project delivery and team leadership, including:

- Leading civil drafting for small to large-scale urban and building projects
- Managing documentation where no designated Lead Engineer is assigned
- Coordinating closely with engineers,



architects, and project stakeholders
- Translating engineering and architectural concepts into clear, construction-ready drawings
- Developing preliminary designs from architectural inputs
- Mentoring and supporting junior designers, particularly in Civil 3D
- Contributing to continuous improvement of drafting systems, standards, and workflows
- Ensuring consistent communication and coordination across project teams

About You You will bring strong technical capability combined with leadership experience, including:

- A relevant TAFE qualification or equivalent
- 8–10+ years’ experience in a senior civil design role within Australia
- High proficiency in Civil 3D (preferred) or 12d on major projects
- Solid knowledge of Austroads, BCA, and Australian Standards
- Proven experience in utilities coordination, roads, drainage, and civil infrastructure documentation
- Strong mentoring and team leadership skills
- Excellent communication, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail
