About the Project ROBAR Group is delivering major civil infrastructure works across Australia, backed by extensive experience in bridge construction and complex FRP delivery. We are now recruiting for a significant 20‑month scope in Rockhampton, including the construction of five bridges.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure long‑term work on a landmark Queensland project.
We are seeking experienced FRP (Form, Reinforce, Pour) crew members for ongoing work across all bridge structures. All roles directly support heavy FRP delivery and bridge construction.

Available Roles

Steelfixers Responsible for installing reinforcement for bridge abutments, headstocks, piers, crossheads, and deck slabs. Duties include tying large reinforcement cages, working with complex bar arrangements,



reading detailed steel schedules, and ensuring correct placement for high‑spec structural elements.

Labourers Responsible for assisting FRP crews with material handling, site preparation, cleaning formwork, supporting concrete pours, and general labouring tasks. Experience on bridge decks, piers, or heavy civil structures is highly beneficial.

- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
- Proven civil infrastructure experience, ideally within FRP or bridge scopes
- Ability to work independently and contribute to a productive crew
- Physically fit, reliable, and committed to long‑term project work
- DIDO/FIFO options available, with a full FIFO package (flights + accommodation)

Required Qualifications

- White Card
- Relevant tickets/qualifications for your role
- Full Australian Driver’s License
- Solid FRP experience on civil projects
