With the expansion of our business we are seeking a second experience person to join our Accounts Department. This is an opportunity for an experienced Trust Accountant to join a professional and supportive real estate business. Working across Sales & Rental Trust Accounting, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day trust function while working closely with agents, clients and internal stakeholders.

This role is a part time position working 4 or 5 days per week from 9:30am – 3:00pm with the flexibility to work Full Time for a few weeks a year when annual leave coverage is required. With the ability for work from home down the road once fully trained up, we are open to discuss this potential opportunity.

Key responsibilities

- Managing day-to-day Sales Trust Accounting & Rental Accounts Administration

- General Accounting support as required

- Daily receipting and bank reconciliations

- Processing bills and invoices

- Bank batch file generation and uploads

- Processing refunds

- End-of-month and EOFY procedures

- Trust reporting and balancing

- Investigating and resolving trust accounting discrepancies





- Liaising with clients, agents and other stakeholders

About you

- Previous real estate trust accounting experience a requirement

- Experience across Sales and/or Rental Trust Accounting

- Strong understanding of real estate trust accounting compliance

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

- Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills

- Confident working with multiple stakeholders

- Robust Excel and Microsoft Office skills

- Xero experience is advantageous

- Box Dice experience is advantageous

- PME experience is advantageous

- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

- Professional, reliable and proactive attitude
