Inspecting, fitting, balancing, and repairing vehicle tyres across a range of passenger and commercial vehicles. Perform any task that is required for the safety, maintenance and cleanliness of the job, personnel and/or vehicle. The ideal candidate brings a strong focus on safety, excellent physical stamina, and a valid Australian driver’s licence.
Key responsibilities
- Customer service (when required)
- Removal and refit of rims and wheel assemblies on all vehicle types
- Repair tyres and tubes
- Checking and adjusting vehicle tyres and wheels using electronic equipment
- Remove, repair and refit tyre and wheel assemblies in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications and the relevant standards
- Tyre balancing and alignment
- Perform tyre changeovers
- Performing tyre diagnostics (e.g. condition, pressure, tread, depth)
- Undertake tyre inflation pressure checks and adjustments
- Ensuring work areas and tools are kept tidy and in positive working order at all times
