Gu Chat is an innovative mobile gaming and social entertainment platform focused on creating fun, engaging, and rewarding experiences for users. We're a growing startup looking for a creative and enthusiastic UGC Marketing & Ads Creator Intern to join our marketing team.

About the Role

We are looking for a creative, social media-savvy individual who is passionate about User-Generated Content (UGC), video advertising, and digital marketing.

You will gain hands-on experience developing engaging, authentic, and high-converting video content for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, with a focus on promoting the Gu Chat app and attracting new users.

Key Learning Opportunities & Responsibilities

- Develop creative UGC-style video concepts for social media advertising.
- Film and edit short-form video ads for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Facebook.
- Explore engaging hooks, storytelling techniques, and creative advertising strategies.
- Research trending UGC content, viral videos, and competitor ads.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for recent marketing campaigns.
- Learn how to create different ad variations to test engagement and performance.




- Gain experience using video editing tools such as CapCut, Canva, or Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Understand how creative content contributes to app downloads and user acquisition.

Who We're Looking For

- A current university or college student studying Marketing, Media, Communications, or a related field.
- Creative, proactive, and enthusiastic about social media marketing.
- Familiar with TikTok, Instagram Reels, and UGC-style advertising.
- Basic video filming and editing skills.
- Comfortable appearing on camera and creating authentic, relatable content.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to experiment with creative ideas.
- Interested in mobile apps, gaming, and digital marketing.
- Available to attend our North Sydney office 3 days per week for 3 months.
