Two-Up Road Train Drivers – Adelaide to Darwin and Return

Doser Freight Forwarding is a third-generation, family-owned transport company based in Dry Creek, SA. We’ve been operating for 61 years. Our business is growing, and we’re launching a recent two-up road train service between Adelaide and Darwin. Starting in early November, we’re looking for experienced drivers to run it.

About the Role

- Departs Adelaide on Saturday and returns on Wednesday

- Home on Thursday and Friday every week

- Two-up operation under our AFM accreditation

Key Responsibilities

- Complete delivery paperwork and records accurately and on time

- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report defects promptly

- Deliver freight on time and in full, meeting delivery windows

- Follow all WHS and Chain of Responsibility obligations

- Keep operations and customers updated on delays, incidents or changes

- Keep your truck clean, tidy and presentable

- Manage fatigue, work diaries and driving hours under Advanced Fatigue Management (AFM) and Heavy Vehicle National Law

- Safely drive your allocated prime mover and trailer on the scheduled runs

To be successful in your application you will need:

- Current MC licence, with at least 3 years Heavy Vehicle experience

- Roadranger experience (Essential)

- BFM accreditation, training will be supplied to work under AFM accreditation





- Ability to supply a current Drivers Licence History Report (Within 30 days)

- Ability to supply a National Police Criminal Check (Within 30 days)

- Willingness to undergo a Fit to Drive medical (Within 30 days)

- Checkable references

- Clear communicator with both customers and operations

- Comfortable with night driving and overnight work

- Experience restraining loads correctly

- Experience with work diaries and fatigue management

- Great attitude and presentation

- Reliable and accountable, with strong time management

- Safety boots and a smartphone
