The Roles
Working as part of our underground construction crews, you’ll support machinery operations or concreting works, depending on your skills and experience.
Responsibilities may include
- Operating machinery safely in an underground environment
- Moving and positioning materials and equipment
- Completing pre-start inspections and reporting equipment faults
- Preparing work areas, installing formwork and placing reinforcement
- Placing, finishing and curing concrete
- Working closely with supervisors and construction crews
- Following site safety procedures and meeting quality requirements
About You
- Previous underground experience is essential
- Relevant operating tickets and machinery experience for Machine Operator positions
- Demonstrated concreting experience for Concreter positions
- Strong safety focus and ability to work effectively within a team
- Available for FIFO work on a 2:2 roster, including day and night shifts
- Multiple high-risk work licences, including rigging, non-slewing mobile crane and forklift, will be highly regarded
